James Turlington is an American model. Originally a promising baseball pitcher at UC Santa Barbara Gauchos and later drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers, he pivoted to modelling after an elbow injury redirected his ambitions.
Signed by IMG Models, and leveraging his striking features and the fashion-world ties of his aunt Christy Turlington, he made his debut with a shoot for Vogue Brazil.
Since then, he’s walked for runways including Dior, Bottega Veneta and Giorgio Armani, and starred in campaigns for brands like Brunello Cucinelli and Ralph Lauren, building a reputation as one of the most promising male models of his generation.
