DANCER, ACTOR, DIRECTOR
After contemporary dance studies at the "Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris", Adrien Dantou entered the Daniel Dobbels’ "Compagnie de l’Entre-Deux". Then, he began to dance in various plays such as "Un son étrange" and "Entre les écrans du temps" developed at the “Chaillot National Theather”.
He also worked in New-York with Benjamin Millepied, dancing for his creations “Anima” and "Sarabande" and with Raimund Hoghe for "Si je meurs”, laissez le balcon ouvert" and "Cantatas".
In 2015, he began to work with Yves Noël Genod for "Un petit peu de Zelda" and he also presented performances in which he mixed dance and contemporary arts at the VNH gallery in Paris.
He is currently working on Benjamin Millepied's new creation which premiered in London in June 2016.
Adrien Dantou is not only a dancer, he is also a choregrapher. He has been creating several choreographies for TV commercials such as "Rendez-vous au Club Swan" for Berluti (2015), "Flight of Fancy" for De Fursac (2015) and for Repetto in 2016.
As an actor, he acted in films like "Sur le départ" by Mickaël Dacheux, "Plus dure sera la chute", "Seul le feu" and "Burning Bridges" by Christophe Pellet.
In 2015, he played in "Trilogie de nos vies défaites" by Vincent Dieutre.
In 2011, he directed his very first short film "L'Aube", selected at the "Festival Côté Court de Pantin" but also "La nuit", his second short film shot in 2013.
He is also producing trailers for the ballets presented at the National Opera of Paris.
He has directed the Lion Babe's video clip "Impossible", as well as several art films produced for the Van Gogh Museum of Paris and the Boijmans Museum of Rotterdam, in collaboration with "House of Makers".
In the same time, he has worked with Benjamin Millepied on the production of several short films like "Hearts and Arrows", "Mutant Stage" and "Passage to Dawn".
In 2015, the French Film Institute devoted him an evening to broadcast all his films through the program "Aujourd'hui, le cinema".
